Sights through Poetry: Volume I

Stories through Poetry Vol. 1 is a collection of poetry by current college student Aliyah Rana’. The poetry is based on the author’s 20 years of exploration and discoveries as a young adult. Each poem is representative of events that have affected the author’s life both directly and indirectly. With topics that range from recent natural disasters to childhood memories, the collection consists of poems that cannot be described as neither political (as some might label them) nor personal (as some are based on events witnessed, not experienced); the collection is more of a autobiographical transition into adulthood. The collection also features pictures taken by the author that correspond to the poems.
