From its inception, The Fictional Cafe has been about publishing the most interesting and innovative forms of poetry, fiction, fine art and audio arts. We celebrated our 10th anniversary in May of 2023, and remain steadfast in this mission. We've grown our Coffee Club membership by a factor of ten and have the pleasure of seeing creatives return year after year to publish their new work with us.

It is our great honor to present many of them again in this, our second anthology of work published on the 'zine. The FC barista-editors have chosen what we feel is their best work, and much more of it than in the first volume. Here you will discover the creative work of 85 writers and artists from around the world: short stories, novel excerpts, award-winning poetry, imaginative painting and drawing, provocative creative nonfiction. You hold in your hands a wealth of what we like to call "a cuppa creativity."

Putting an anthology together is an immense amount of work. We thank our contributors, our international Coffee Club community, and our loyal baristas for their continuing support. We're starting work on the third volume, which will span 2021 to 2024.
