Agnes M. Schwartz, born in 1933, Budapest, Hungary, immigrated to the United States in 1947. After raising three children and retiring from a law office career, she became involved with the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois, now known as the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
