Stanfield Margason’s estranged wife shoots him, claiming abuse, in hopes of gaining the five hundred million dollar estate. But Scottsdale Detective Aaron Guerevich finds the killing suspicious and follows a trail to Las Vegas, where he discovers Margason has been involved with counterfeiters using printing plates and paper the CIA gave to the Shah of Iran. In a strange international twist, the plates end up in Colombia and the counterfeit money ends up in Manuel Noriega’s Panama.
