Today, I enjoy life as a doctor of Chiropractic care, a minister, a mentor, a mother and a grandmother. I’ve been blessed with having accomplished all of this because of a determined spirit and help from many people along the way, and hearing the Light within me. The journey has taken me through unexpected trials which have turned into blessings over the years. I have successfully overcome the odds, and broken the cycle of poverty that seemed to loom over my family’s future. The odds were not in my favor, given the circumstances of my early life, growing up in a working class family in the inner city.
