Lead As I Lead: Acquiring the Leadership Attributes of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ set the example of perfect leadership. The Bible states that Jesus mingled among His fellowmen and taught them, ministered to them, and encouraged them to a better way of life. He said, Follow me and taking the lead, He moved people forward. We can have this same influence whether or not we have an official leadership position by simply leading as He leads. Whether we are parents, coaches, teachers, teammates, leaders, subordinates, spectators, or fellow commuters, we can use these attributes to influence situations and people towards a better place. This book contains a simple 7-step process that helps us acquire the attributes of Jesus. The book also discusses 75 attributes Jesus demonstrated as He led people and influenced situations. The discussion of these attributes draws upon some 1,100 scriptural references including counsel from both ancient and modern apostles who emulate His example. Each of us are stronger in some of these attributes than others but as we study the perfect example of the perfect leader, we can become better and do better, and help others to make similar improvements. The discussion of each attribute is accompanied by several questions to help us apply the attribute in our daily lives. Small improvements in acquiring these attributes can yield significant benefits as we mingle among our fellowmen and lead people and situations to a better place. Then, we are leading as Jesus leads!
