Musings of a woman trying to love her body in today’s world …Meet Jennifer, a 40-something year old mother who has a complicated relationship with her body. While once labeled as skinny by her childhood peers, Jennifer now feels anything but. A strong advocate, she is a firm believer in the growing Body Positive movement. But like so many other generations of women today, she struggles to fully accept her physical self. This brings her to ask such critical questions as:

Why are boobs still so scandalous? Is my neglecting to shave rooted in laziness or feminism? Who are women kidding with all those photo filters? Was dodgeball created to further traumatize non-athletic children? Why is only a certain demographic allowed to be sexy on social media? Does every woman do the bounce test when trying on a bathing suit? What fool designed women’s underwear with hole details in it?
