The stories contained in this book are all guest stories; I take no credit for these stories. They have been retold for my grandchildren’s enjoyment and edification of Canadian and American first nation legends. My hope is to teach them to respect all cultures and all people regardless of their religious beliefs or cultural background. My in tensions were to teach them that every culture is unique in its own way, and people should not be judged by the clothes they wear, the colour of their skin, the accent they might have in their speech or the type of food they consume. My heart’s desire is that we all strive to be very tolerant people in this cultural diverse society in which we live. Tolerant of each other, knowing that from a distance, we all look the same, and we were all those cute and innocent little babies who were loved and cherished before we became adults.
