Preaching with Storytelling

More than 70% of all Scripture flows with narrative and story. God’s historical acts are set in the framework of stories. Jesus perfected communicating God’s message in story. He told stories every time he spoke. Preachers who are faithful to the Carpenter’s message need to be faithful to imitate the Carpenter’s storytelling approach. The thrust of Preaching With Storytelling is to give guidelines on how to use storytelling in preaching. The emphasis of the book is twofold: telling and preaching Bible stories, and telling stories to illustrate Bible truths.
