Most people who have been exposed to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement training have learned good data collection, plotting, and analysis methods, along with how to use Minitab statistical software to help with those tasks. However, the sample data files used in training are usually clean and simple and don’t reflect what students actually encounter in the real world.
