Forbidden Fruit

Every story has at least two sides and for Kenali King all the sides seem to be against her. After suddenly losing her mother, she has been catapulted into a series of events that are only bringing about a greatly multiplied sorrow. Her newly widowed father is the hot topic of the city with she devils coming from miles around trying to become the new Mrs. King even as soon as the day of the funeral. Kenali and her sisters, Divine and Simbol, vow to put these disrespecting devils on the run by any means necessary. As if that’s not enough, to make matters worse, Kenali has to make a huge life changing decision. Three years ago, she pushed away her exceedingly handsome beau, Christian Jackson. Now that he has unselfishly showed up after the death of her mother to be of support, she’s finding herself conflicted with that decision. The more she leans toward him, the more she learns that he has some deadly drama in tow who wants nothing more than to make Kenali’s already grievous life a living hell. With this added weight, it may prove Christian could very well be her Forbidden Fruit.
