Clara is a small-town detective who works alongside Milles. Clara and Miles's friend Lucy has gone missing but when Clara gets a call from Lucy stating she has been kidnapped, things begin to look far more sinister. Clara brings her father, an ex-detective who was once the best to help her find Lucy. But with the dense Pinetree forest around the town, will Clara have the skill and time to save her life-long friend? And will Miles finally tell her how he feels?

I have decided to write my first short story. If you are anything like me and love reading but find you are never able to finish a full book because of other commitments (mine is a very active toddler) or you lose interest easily, then im hoping you can enjoy a short but powerful story with the book. I had so much fun writing it, I hope you like reading it!
