In Keys to the Kingdom, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Weathersby, a respected theologian, presents insights revealed to him by the Holy Spirit about the Gospel of the Kingdom - a central theme in the teachings of Jesus, the apostles, and the early Church. He argues that Jesus came to establish a Kingdom, not a religion, and that the lack of emphasis on this message has led to disillusionment about being a child of God.

Dr. Weathersby asserts that many believers may have been delivered but not set free, and that repentance, a change of mind, mindset, and attitude, are necessary for both the lost and the saved. In a kingdom, the king provides everything to his citizens. God is our King, and His believers must learn to access these heavenly provisions through faith.

Faith, he argues, is strengthened through trials and is closely linked to hope. Dr. Weathersby also expounds on the Father's love as the highest character of the Kingdom, which anticipates and makes room for mistakes, and frees citizens from worry, fear, and fighting for what has already been given.
