The Great Pickleball Wars is an enlightening story that explores the political problems America faces today. The story is presented in another world with four countries; each representative of America in different stages of political turmoil. Struggle and Trouble, each have divided governments and are where America was 15 years ago. Dire is on the verge of civil war and represents America today. Thrive represents what America could be with the changes offered in the story. Each of the countries has a two-party system that revolves around the sports of Pickleball and Tennis. The major issues of our day are symbolically presented in the conflicts between the two dominant political parties, Picklecrats and Tenniscans.

The story is delivered through six characters. There is a Wizard and an Oracle, which represent the conflict between science and religion. There are two politicians Picklecrat and Tenniscan who are the leaders of each of the political parties. Lastly, there are two TV personalities one from Pickleball News Network (PNN) and the other from Frank News who present the differing editorial views of the news.

The book presents a centrist political position with the intent of neutrality. Stylistically, it is written simply and uses the form of an allegory to help free readers from their own political position. This allows them to explore America's political problems in an unthreatening manner and gain insight into the basic causes. The author presents a potential solution through a 10-point Bill of Rights, and demonstrates what could be an acceptable compromise.

The book is targeted towards politically interested individuals who want to understand how America got to this point of division. The intent of the book is to foster communication and initiate change.
