This wonderful book picture book by Robin A. Edgar with whimsical illustrations by Ron Mosseller is set in Tryon, NC and tells the story of Morris the Horse, who thinks no one cares about him anymore now that cars and trucks are around. Deciding to just sit down in the middle of town and quit, his outlook changes when he meets a skinny little boy who becomes his friend as well as the town hero for getting Morris to finally get up and go!
