When Rain Comes

When Carolyn Wyngate arrived in Chula Vista on the California coast in August 1915, she finds her taxi service is a dusty truck driven by a handsome orchardist by the name of Nate. That warm summer afternoon, his dark brown hair had a light wind-swept wave and his brown eyes had an intensity that pierced the distance between them with perception and heart.
