Maureen Boyd Biro is a freelance writer whose articles, essays, and fiction have been published in numerous -national and regional magazines. Walking with Maga is her first children’s book. Maureen lives with her husband and two children in Pleasant Hill, California.
Joyce Wheeler attended the Chicago Art Institute and the Art Center in Pasadena, and is the illustrator of several books. She received the Don Freeman Memorial Grant and has been a featured illustrator for the Society of -Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Joyce lives and teaches in Santa Monica, California.
