A young, would-be author leaves his family’s business and finds his ideal writing place in Texas Jake’s Trailer Park and Harley Repair, in California’s far northwest. While trying to write the great American novel, he encounters an odd assortment of characters, gets involved in a war between the government and the forest and lands in the middle of a major political drama. Clueless about what’s going on around him and clueless about the women he meets, loves and loses, Scott stumbles through an exciting chapter in modern history.
