The Seals Who Flew Home

Patricia Ann Arrigoni

Sergio and Sabrina Sulla, brother and sister, volunteer at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California. During the Pandemic some rescued seals at The Center have been stranded there because no staff is available to manage their release during the COVID-19 shutdown. As volunteers at The Center, Sergio and Sabrina are able to enter the facility. On one visit, Sabrina discovers that Alice, one of the harbor seals, has learned to speak English. Alice discloses to Sabrina that members of the seal group have been plotting a way to escape now that they have been restored to health. All releases of healthy animals were stalled by the lockdown. Sabrina and Sergio join them to help finally find a way home.
