A Journey to Madagascar

This Second Grade adventure begins in the MinnesotaHistory Center where the class learns about tornados andthe history of Minnesota. Their trip to the history center wasto learn about Benjamin Franklin’s discovery of electricity.Learn how the students trigger a shock that transports theclass and the reader to the island country of Madagascarwhere Lemurs of all species romp and insects and othercrawly creatures abound. Venture into the jungle with theseeight-year-olds as they discover the Madagascan peopleand the perceived threat to unique animals that live in thedisappearing forests.
