A New Radical Metaphysics

A New Radical Metaphysics is a project of what has been categorized as ‘Existence Philosophy, ’ a successor term to ‘Existentialism.’ The author opposes monistic scientism, appealing instead to a spiritual aspect of the mind-that which is traditionally regarded as the soul. Rejecting the reality of one’s soul is nothing less than trading one’s human potential for a mess of reality-poor technological pottage. The need to develop one’s soul is paramount in human existence. Otherwise, as stated in the epitaph, we are only insects crawling among other ephemeral insects on a speck of surface mud and water amid the appalling immensities of the physical universe.
