Hamartia

Hamartia tells the story of John as he follows a classic pathway of initiation out of a wounded identity to return to a place of wholeness. Isolated by choice on his island home of Diarra; John is trying to escape the past of his father’s suicide and his mother’s abandonment. But a health crisis humbles him into an initiatory ordeal; one that is guided by the sure healing hands of Mary-Helen Thompson. What follows is an uplifting journey of freedom and reconnection for them both; a journey out of a past that once bound them in chains.
