At the Edge: British Art 1950-2000

This publication, which accompanies a major touring exhibition, looks at British art of the second half of the 20th Century from the perspective of four North West art galleries: Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale and Preston. The exhibition and catalogue bring together key art works from the galleries’ collections and looks at the considerable challenges faced in acquiring them. Featuring 64 works by renowned British artists the exhibition showcases a rich diverse mix of sculpture, ceramics, painting and photography.
