Phantom Leader: The Life and Times of a Flying Sailor

As a naval aviator, the author served aboard fleet carriers and was later a Squadron Commander, responsible for training aircrews; in subsequent years, he contributed in a major way to policy and executive decisions. He has sat in the hot seat aboard virtually every postwar British naval aircraft, from the Sea Hawk, Wyvern and Gannet, through the Scimitar and Buccaneer, to the Phantom and Sea Harrier.
