Growing into Anthroposophy: Four Stages of Spiritual Thinking

On discovering a rift between Steiner’s early philosophical writings, and later anthroposophical work, Jan Dostal worked at trying to resolve the two. In the words of the author Having found that a gradual transformation of thinking overcomes this split, it seemed a helpful thing to do to pass on to others my experiences in thinking, however provisional and modest they might be, in the hope these might help others overcome certain difficulties more quickly than I did . In order to do this, Dostal proposes a four step approach; Pure Thinking, Reverence, Love and finally, Sacrifice, in order to grow into anthroposophy .
