Poetry. The erotic works of Alan Davies hold a unique place in contemporary literature. They do not focus on the fantasy of sex, underwear and velvet ropes, but on the language of sex and the social framework of sex in a very sexy way. Like Apollinaire’s Prince of Debauchery or the works of Sade, Davies uses sex like a scalpel to lay bare our lives and thoughts.
