This collection of images over the centuries brings to light some of the people, events, and institutions that made Watervliet New York an important and early manufacturing center in the Capital District. This first volume presents Watervliet’s streetscapes: scenes from the many businesses, manufacturers, and mom and pop establishments that give the city this rich history.
