Ireland Restored: The New Self-Determination

The central thesis of this work is that Ireland, if it is to be reunited must return to the original status of republic that it enjoyed during the years 1919 to 1922. The all-Ireland Republic as recognized by Britain in the Treaty Settlement must be restored not through violence or physical force, but through constitutional and legal means. This splendid and detailed study takes the reader through the thicket of Irish constitutional history and ultimately suggests a solution to the present situation.
