Love Was Born at Christmas is an Advent booklet designed especially for families with children. The children participate by coloring one object from the accompanying manger scene, cutting it out, and pasting it onto the appropriate spot in the Christmas setting. Thus, the whole family can ready itself for the Christmas event through this simple Advent booklet. Susan E. Luttrell is an elementary school teacher in Kokomo, Indiana. She has served the church as deaconness, Sunday school teacher, director of Christian Education, and member of Church Women United. Her Advent booklet was written in an effort to provide something for Advent that would involve the entire family – children included.
