Chronology of World History

A condensed version of the four-volume Chronology of World History which covers events from 10,000 BC to AD 1994. For each date (or range of dates in the earlier periods) it includes not only the key political and military events, but also events of importance in other spheres of human activity, including the arts, science, technology, discovery, philosophy, religion, education and recreation. This enables each occurrence, whether a battle, a piece of sculpture or a scientific breakthrough, to be seen in historical perspective. It presents an overview of the development of human history and should be suitable for school and college use.
