Clarence C. Dill: The Life of a Western Politician

Clarence C. Dill won election in 1914 as a U.S. Representative from Spokane, Washington, despite being a political newcomer and a Democrat in a Republican stronghold. He led Congress in drafting the Radio Act of 1927 and the Federal Communications Act of 1934. Dill also effectively lobbied FDR to authorize Grand Coulee Dam.
