Sarah and Warren were high school sweethearts who despite teenage plans for an adventurous future together, eventually married other people. When they meet again at sixty, their lives have been carved into very different shapes. Sarah lives outside New York, where she works at a local museum; Warren lives in Boston, a developer of historical buildings. Sarah is divorced, Warren still married, and both have grown up children.
