Recommendations for the Electrical and Electronic Equipment of Mobile and Fixed Offshore Installations

These Recommendations apply to the electrical equipment for the generation, storage, conversion, distribution and utilization of electrical energy for all purposes in Offshore Installations. They are designed to provide safety of installed equipment, and portable and transportable equipment intended to be connected to the Installation’s distribution system, especially from fire, shock and burns, and to facilitate the satisfactory operation of such equipment.
