Revolutionary Warfare under the New World Order: Revolutionary Warfare in Transition

This text applies Thomas Sowell’s concepts of the constrained and unconstrained visions to revolutionary warfare in analysing the vulnerabilities of both the United States and the revolutionary movement it has faced. The author traces fundamental defects in American strategy for defeating revolutionaries in Indochina and looks at the influence of unconstrained vision in post-World War II administrations, in particular the Kennedy administration.
