Shared Power: What Is It? How Does It Work? How Can We Make It Work Better?

The book explores the concept of shared power arrangements as ways in which public issues are, or can be, addressed. One series of chapters focuses on major conceptual or theoretical topics that cut across all policy areas and levels of analysis; while another series of chapters explores power sharing within particular policy areas, so that the meaning and the limits of power sharing might be addressed across policy domains.
