The nine case studies are: Harlem Youth Opportunities Unlimited; Baltimore City School Desegregation; Organizing Tenants in South Baltimore; The Charleston Hospital Strike; The Establishment of Community Based Residential Facilities for the Retarded in Montgomery County, Maryland; The Child Labor Laws in Illinois; The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom; The Gray Panther Movement; and The Women’s Ordination Movement in the Episcopal Church.
