Autumn de Wilde is unique among modern music photographers for the way she creates her intimate and arresting images—through friendships and close bonds with the musicians that she documents. DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE could not have been created by any other photographer. Friend to the band, Autumn has documented them for many years, incuding the extended period during which they repaired to a farmhouse in upstate NY to record their commercial breakthrough album Plans.
