Anthony Newman: Music, Energy, Spirit, Healing

This work commemorates the 60th birthday of performer, composer, conductor, author and teacher, Anthony Newman. It contains a brief chronology of his life, reviews and interviews, personal reflections on Newman by his friends and Newman’s own writing on his life. Part one looks at reviews and interviews that cover Newmans career between 1970 and 1989. Part two is a collection of reflections written by Newman’s friends and colleagues, which show their respect for the man and his talent. The final section contains writings from Newman which capture his thoughts and ideas about music, along with musical scores to illustrate his theories.
