Smith presents information about Cash’s repertoire indexed by song title. Whereas in a sessionography one might have to wade through many pages covering entries for different session dates and overdub sessions to find if, when, and how a particular title was released, Another Song to Sing presents all pertinent information for a given title in an entry for that title.
