Greenfield in the volumes foreword, DLB Volume 110 is a companion volume to DLB 107, 1789-1832: First Series, which deals with British Romantic prose writers who were born 1775 or earlier. The writers treated in the Second Series were all born after 1775 and wrote most of their important prose works between 1810 and 1845, years of war, reaction, reform, and general political and social change. A Literary Reviewing appendix is also included in this volume.
