This little book, written in a friendly, encouraging, and helpful tone by the former editor-in-chief of a major catechetical publisher, provides that willing beginner with useful information on such topics as an overview of child development, learning styles, organizing one’s teaching space, and planning the lesson. The author makes the whole experience much less intimidating than that new volunteer ever imagined it would be.
