It comprises virtually everything in the way of vital records ever published in the three leading Virginia periodicals and bears reference to some 20,000 persons. Articles range from brief abstracts of individual documents to transcriptions of entire files. They constitute the best efforts of an army of researchers and provide, in the aggregate, one of the largest repositories of Virginia source materials ever seen.
