These six meditations offer a time and a place, suggested scripture readings from the gospel texts, and provocative meditations. Participants will experience and share the commitment of fellowship in the days leading up to the surprise and joy of Easter. Each is designed for approximately 15 minutes. Suggested uses:

Men’s prayer breakfast
Women’s breakfast or luncheon during Holy Week
Youth meetings

Each day offers suggested scripture readings and a provocative meditation that enables the participant to experience the pathos of the days leading up to the surprise and joy of Easter.

C. Alton Robertson is Associate Pastor at Alfred North Whitehead College for Lifelong Learning, University of Redlands. He also serves as Director of and Faculty Liaison to the Whitehead Academic Advising and Assessment Center. Robertson has earned an M.Div. degree in Systematic Theology from Berkeley Baptist Divinity School, and M.I.A. (International Affairs) and M.Phil. (International Politics) degrees from Columbia University. He served five years on the staff of the National Student Christian Federation and five years as a campus minister on the staff of the Waseda Hoshien Student Christian Center in Tokyo.
