James), Gwendolyn Butler (Jennie Melville), and Ruth Rendell, and the Americans are Patricia Highsmith, Carolyn Heilbrun (Amanda Cross), Edna Buchanan, Kare Gallison, Sue Grafton, Sara Paretsky, Nevada Barr, Patricia Cornwell, Carol Higgins Clark, and Megan Rust.
