Explore American History II: 1870s to the Present

The Explore American History workbooks, written in an engaging and easy-to-follow way, will provide middle school-level students with an overall survey of United States history. The first volume spans prehistory to Reconstruction. Volume II covers the 1870s to the present. The chapters are broken into manageable sections, each of which is followed by multiple-choice and open-ended questions. These are designed to allow students to practice reading comprehension and writing skills and to reinforce learning within the content area of history.
