William Kamkwamba: Powering His Village

This book tells how William Kamkwamba was forced to drop out of his school in Wimbe, Malawi, when his family could no longer afford his tuition fee. Instead of giving up, William visited his local library often and used what he learned to build a windmill that brought power to his family’s home and to build a drinking water pump for his village. William’s ingenuity and initiative are an inspiration to people around the world.
