The Canadian Yearbook of International Law, Vol. 37, 1999

Annually since 1963 The Canadian Yearbook of International Law has presented an impressive, authoritative survey of important and topical issues in the field of international law. The editors provide a summary in English for any articles written in French and, similarly, French summaries for those written in English. In addition to articles of lasting significance, each volume contains book reviews, a Notes and Comments section, two sections on Canadian practice in international law, a digest of important Canadian cases on public international law and conflict of laws, and a commentary on recent Canadian treatises. The Canadian Yearbook of International Law is issued under the auspices of the Canadian Branch of the International Law Association (Canadian Society of International Law).
