Secrets of the Threshold (1928)

This book contains a course of eight lectures given by Rudolf Steiner in Munich in August 1913. A brief synopsis of these lectures is as follows: Lecture 1: contains the first reference to Eurhythmy and deal entirely with the fourth Mystery Play The Soul’s Awakening ; Lecture 2: Ahriman and Lucifer are both necessary, they cannot be driven away but they must be balanced; Lecture 3: Element world, the first condition is the ability to transform into a foreign being; Lecture 4: In ascent from element world to spirit world, everything of the sense world must be abandoned; Lecture 5: Professor Capesius; Lecture 6: Roman letter Ahriman; Lecture 7: no royal road, each soul has its own path; Lecture 8: Lucifer and Ahriman change their role in different epochs.
