Kingdom of Christ or Hints to a Quaker (1883)

Volume 2 of 2. Respecting the principles, constitution and ordinances of the Catholic church. Originally appeared in the form of letters to a member of the Society of Friends. Its main object was to inquire whether an acknowledgment of the spiritual principles involved the rejection of the Christian ordinances, or whether one did not necessarily imply the other. The Quakers sought to establish a spiritual kingdom in the world. This volume is a continuation of Part 2 on the Catholic church and Romish system and closes with a chapter on the relation of the church and national bodies.
