JG Montgomery is a forty-something-year-old public servant, born in Cornwall in the United Kingdom and son of an Australian Air Force officer. Haunted Britain is his fifth book. He is also the author of A Case for Ghosts (2012), the illustrated children’s book The Oomee Mau Ma (2012), WYRD-A Journey into the Beliefs and Philosophies of the Known and Unknown (2014), Meditations in Orange (2014) and contributed and edited poetry in Capital Reflections (2014). Mr. Montgomery is a bass player, guitarist, vocalist, and song writer in a mod pop band and has served in both the Australian Army Reserve and Australian Air Force. He has university degrees in cultural heritage and teaching and was once a cricket coach. He is also a decorated State Emergency Service volunteer and lives in Canberra, Australia, with his partner Kirsten, three cats, a short black dog, six ducks, and a lot of goldfish.
